Fighting game collaborations usually stop at alternate character costumes. CORSAIR is taking things a step further by giving competitive players hardware that looks like it came straight out of the brutal world of Invincible VS. The peripheral manufacturer has announced a new collaboration with Skybound centered on Invincible VS, the upcoming 3v3 superhero fighting game. The limited edition lineup includes an Invincible VS-themed NOVABLADE PRO Wireless leverless fighting controller, a matching MM300 2XL gaming mouse pad, and a replacement faceplate for existing NOVABLADE PRO owners. The collection is available for preorder now in limited quantities through CORSAIR’s online store.
The star of the collection is the NOVABLADE PRO Wireless Invincible VS Edition, which features artwork depicting Omni-Man and Invincible locked in battle. While the exterior embraces the comic’s signature ultraviolence, the hardware underneath remains the same tournament-focused controller CORSAIR introduced last year.
The controller is equipped with CORSAIR’s MGX Hyperdrive Hall Effect magnetic switches, offering adjustable actuation, Rapid Trigger support for quicker repeated inputs, and FlashTap SOCD handling for customizable directional input behavior. It also supports tri-mode connectivity through wired USB, 2.4GHz wireless, and Bluetooth, making it compatible with PC as well as PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 consoles.
Players who already own a NOVABLADE PRO don’t have to purchase an entirely new controller to join the crossover. CORSAIR is also selling a swappable Invincible VS faceplate, allowing current owners to give their controller the same comic-inspired makeover.
Rounding out the collection is the MM300 2XL Invincible VS Edition gaming mouse pad. The oversized desk mat features artwork inspired by the game, anti-fray stitched edges for durability, and a non-slip rubber base designed to stay planted during long gaming sessions.
The collaboration arrives at an interesting time for fighting games. With titles like Street Fighter 6, Tekken 8, and Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves helping revitalize the genre, Invincible VS is looking to carve out its own place by bringing Robert Kirkman’s superhero universe into a competitive 3v3 fighter. Rather than releasing generic branded accessories, CORSAIR has focused on hardware that directly targets the fighting game community.
Whether the collection appeals more to competitive players or dedicated Invincible fans will likely depend on the price tag.
