Several days after the grand release of the most anticipated RPG Crimson Desert, the developers released the first game patch. Version 1.00.03 brings balance changes, fixes known issues and improves game experience. Most noticeable, the patch adjusts some game pad and keyboard/mouse controls, and rises Health restoration rate for food and items. Many fixes and changes are based on community feed back, and developers promise to keep a closer look at players’ opinion and requests. The patch is already available across all platforms.

Quests and Progression
- Fixed quest progression issues (Chapter 2 cat pathfinding, Turnali’s Request).
- Reduced knowledge acquisition time; observation now required only once.
- Force Palm unlocked earlier; logging simplified with basic swings.
- Reduced QTE difficulty for arm wrestling and mounted pin.
Exploration and Fast Travel
- Added Abyss Nexuses across Pywel for improved teleportation.
- Private Storage added in Hernand and Howling Hill Camp.
- Ore veins and collectibles now auto-discover within proximity (8m for ores, 2m for tools).
- Improved Skybridge Alignment Device visibility and activation.
Combat and Enemy Strongholds
- Infirmary: wounded enemies no longer return.
- Storage: enemy max health -10%.
- Barracks: enemy attack -5.
- Reduced health and attack for certain enemies and bosses.
- Lowered Stamina consumption for blocking.
- Increased stun gauge accumulation on successful parry.
Items and Economy
- Increased health restored by ingredients and food.
- Added new food to Hernand Tavern.
- Reduced restorative item prices at Howling Hill Camp (10 Silver → 1 Silver).
- Witch shop items now reset daily.
Controls and UI
- Improved responsiveness of interaction UI, jump inputs, and main menu.
- Keyboard shortcuts added: I (Inventory), K (Skills), J (Journal), M (Map).
- Food items auto-register to quick slot on first acquisition.
Graphics and Settings (Consoles)
- Added 120Hz mode toggle for PS5 and Xbox (HDMI 2.1 required; default changed to 60Hz).
- Fixed resolution, upscaling, and display mode issues.
- Various Mac-specific fixes.
Performance and Stability
- Fixed multiple crash issues across PC, PS5, and Xbox.
- Fixed graphics card detection issues on hybrid GPU systems.
- [Xbox] Fixed offline gameplay availability.
Additional Improvements
- Pets now loot items correctly.
- Horse behavior improved when called.
- Death and loading sequence delays fixed.
- Localization fixes across all languages.
