CRKD Partners With Limited Run Games For Retro-Inspired Nitro Deck 2 Designs

CRKD is leaning hard into nostalgia ahead of the Nitro Deck 2 launch, announcing a new partnership with Limited Run Games alongside a retro-styled addition to its upcoming hardware lineup. The premium accessory maker revealed the details as part of a holiday update, building on the strong momentum generated since the Nitro Deck 2’s debut during the IGN post-show at The Game Awards 2025.

The headline announcement is the Nitro Deck 2 Fusion Limited Edition, created in collaboration with Limited Run Games. True to the partner’s name, this version is limited by both availability and time. The Fusion Edition features a striking split design that combines Glacier Blue and Atomic Purple, two of the most recognizable colorways from the original Nitro Deck. The result is a bold, collector-focused look aimed squarely at retro hardware fans. This edition will be available exclusively through Limited Run Games and CRKD’s own storefront, with pre-orders closing permanently on March 29, 2026, after which the design will be vaulted.

Alongside the collaboration, CRKD also revealed the Nitro Deck 2 Pal Grey Edition, a direct response to community requests for a more classic aesthetic. Inspired by vintage console hardware, the Pal Grey Edition blends subdued retro tones with the modern engineering upgrades of the Nitro Deck 2. To complete the look, CRKD is also releasing matching accessories, including the Pal Stick Top 8 Pack and Pal D-Pad 4 Pack, sold separately, giving players a fully coordinated throwback setup.

CRKD is also sweetening the deal for early adopters with a universal pre-order bonus program. Every Nitro Deck 2 pre-order, regardless of edition or purchase date, will include a branded microfiber string bag and an Early Supporter Collector’s Pin at no additional cost. These bonuses apply retroactively, ensuring customers who have already locked in their orders are not left out.

With Nitro Deck 2 expected to begin shipping in Spring 2026, CRKD is clearly positioning the accessory as both a performance upgrade and a collectible centerpiece for the Switch 2 generation. Between the Limited Run Games collaboration, the Pal Grey throwback design, and bonus items for early supporters, the company is making a strong play for players who want their handheld setup to stand out as much as it performs.
