After almost a decade, the developers from Sinxsoft brought some news about a forgotten JRPG Cross Reverie. According to the official Steam page, the developers plan to release the game in 2026. The history of the game starts back in 2015, yet back then the kickstarted campaign was cancelled, and the project fate became unknown. After years of silence, the project received a brand-new teaser, demonstrating some gameplay and introducing main characters. Moreover, the short video also announces that a demo version will be released in February 2026.
Cross Reverie promises to bring players to the island of Talesford. There they will follow the path of eight characters, chosen for the divine trial. Those who complete it and gain the favor of the Dreamer can fulfill their wishes and desires. However, this time the trial is unpredictable, as the dark forces take over the rite. Eight heroes will face their worst nightmares, fighting the dark forces or succumbing to their will.
