The developers from Massive Monster and publisher Devolver Digital have announced a release date for Cult of the Lamb DLC Woolhaven. A trailer followed the announcement, revealing the cult’s main threat in the new expansion. This time, frost and ice become the main enemy, as the God of Winter demands the return of the souls of Lambs. The frosty adventure starts on January 22 on all platforms.
Woolhaven brings to the Cult of the Lamb roguelike adventure a new chilling biome, gameplay expansion, new building, and a storyline.
DLC Key Features
Base Management and New Mechanics:
- Winter Survival: New systems require players to keep followers fed and warm using special meals, clothing, and decor to prevent them from freezing.
- Seasonal Activities: Followers can enjoy festive interactions like hot tub parties, building snowlambs, and throwing snowballs. They also have new traits, quests, and quirks.
- Expanded Construction: New structures include the Exorcism Altar for rerolling follower traits and the Work Tent for assigning more jobs.
- Woolhaven Restoration: Restore the town by returning souls, clearing rubble, and rebuilding shops to unlock new features like animal ranching and the ability to reforge legendary weapons.
New Dungeons:
- Ewefall: A snowy mountain exterior inhabited by the Free Pack, a wolf faction led by Marchosias. This pack employs coordinated tactics and storm-powered technology with the goal of eradicating all gods, including you.
- The Rot: A grotesque, living interior within the mountain. Its enemies, driven mad by suffering, mutate and duplicate aggressively. This corrupting environment hosts several unique storylines, including aiding an ancient dragon and navigating a monstrous garden.
