Dawnforge has arrived, bringing the first new Paladins map in 3 years to this competitive team title from hi-Rez.
While the team behind Smite are busy with cool looking Smite x Runescape cross overs, the other battlers from this studio is getting a ton of updates too. The Dawnforge update is now live in paladins, adding a new Event Pass, a bunch of changes, and the Dawnforge map. This is the first new map for the hero brawler in three years, following on from the Bazaar Siege Map. This imposing new backdrop comes filled with a gilded edge, tons of verticality, and a myriad of cosmic machinery that quietly whirrs away.
This powerful roaming battlefield was summoned by Azaan to “protect” the Realm, Dawnforge will in reality be its doom as the Eternal would not risk the Abyss corrupting Paladins’ world – he would rather destroy it pre-emptively. So, probably best you make sure you win this one. To celebrate the extra addition, a special ‘Dawnforge Only’ Limited-Time Mode will allow everyone to enjoy the new map at will.
Like any good update, there’s a new event too. An evil army event pass, titled Chaos Rising, is also out today with a total of 24 rewards, This includes the Pyre soldier, while the Eternal Emissary Tyra is an instant unlock. Like any Event Pass, we expect this to be hanging around the in game shop for the usual number of crystals. That isn’t all. The new update also welcomes the cute Lovestruck Kasumi skin, a ton of challenges, rewards, and other tweaks.
