The developers from Terrible Toybox and publisher MicroProse have announced a Death By Scrolling release date for consoles. The game was released for PC (Steam) back in October 2025, and received mostly positive reviews from the players. However, developers didn’t plan to stop. The roguelite adventure comes to Xbox Series, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch on April 16. Moreover, the consoles release will come along with the major update, including new characters and biom.
Death by Scrolling is an action adventure with roguelike elements. The game invites players to purgatory, where they have to escape the Reaper’s grasp. Fighting through hordes of monster and collection the gold, they have to earn the chance to pay the Ferrymanʼs river-crossing fee to the afterlife.
