The party is getting a little bigger. Resolution Games and Wizards of the Coast have confirmed that Demeo x Dungeons & Dragons: Battlemarked is coming to Xbox later this year, bringing its cooperative tactical RPG adventure to Xbox Series X|S, Xbox on PC, and Xbox handheld devices.
The game will support Xbox Play Anywhere, allowing players to move between supported Xbox platforms while keeping their progress and access connected. Xbox players can wishlist the game now as they prepare to gather a party and start rolling the dice on some questionable tactical decisions.
Battlemarked is not trying to recreate the full tabletop Dungeons & Dragons experience on a screen. Instead, the game focuses on one of the best parts of a D&D campaign, working together when everything has gone horribly wrong. Players will need to communicate, coordinate their abilities, and make tactical decisions as they tackle story-driven adventures inspired by the legendary fantasy setting.
Built on Resolution Games’ Demeo Action Roleplaying System, Battlemarked supports parties of up to four heroes. Players can choose from iconic D&D classes and abilities while navigating tactical encounters designed to offer an approachable experience for newcomers alongside more meaningful strategic options for veteran RPG players.
The Xbox release will also expand Battlemarked’s cross-platform multiplayer community. Xbox players will be able to join adventurers on Nintendo Switch 2, Steam, Meta Horizon, and PlayStation. A PICO version is also expected to launch later this year.
The game is scheduled to launch on Xbox platforms later in 2026, although a specific release date has not yet been announced. Considering Demeo’s focus on cooperative play, bringing Battlemarked to Xbox makes plenty of sense. The more platforms involved, the easier it should be to assemble a full party, which is traditionally the point where every carefully planned adventure begins to fall apart.
