The developers from Blizzard Entertainment had been on hand during the Diablo 30th Anniversary Spotlight to share important announcements such as the release of the new Warlock class, in Diablo IV, Diablo Immortal, and in Diablo II: Resurrected. Let’s go game-by-game to see what is coming later in 2026!
Diablo Immortal
Lut Gholein will be evolving through the year with new subzones for exploration and farming. Beginning with the Rocky Wastes, each update will introduce new areas, fearsome enemies, and fresh challenges. The new equalized Battleground event will be the ideal spot for players of all different resonance levels to compete and show off their skills.
The developers have also considered community feedback and are adding more quality-of-life changes to combat, progression, and world updates. Those include improving access to specific Legendary Gems and revamped classic events.
But, of course, the most exciting addition is that of a new playable class, Warlock. Using Vizjerei magic, the Warlock can open portals to hell, carving rifts through reality to summon and command demons. The Warlock wields a demon skull in her main hand, and a sacrificial blade in her offhand.
This is just the kind of ally you want to fight against Andariel, the Maiden of Anguish, that returns to Sanctuary.
- January to March. New Quest, Battleground overhaul, new subzone with its own boss, new PvP competition, and more! Additionally prepare for the events dedicated to Lunar New Year and Valentine’s Day.
- April to June. New quest, gear, Helliquary bosses, new endgame PvP challenge, Lut Gholein subzones, new zone & event. This is also when Diablo Immortal will welcome the Warlock class, crossover event and the Fourth Anniversary event;
- July to September. The most mysterious update yet, but players can look forward to new subzone, new quest, and summer festival.
- October to December. New subzones, Helliquary bosses and quest. Winter event returns.
