As a part of Diablo’s 30th Anniversary and the upcoming Diablo Immortal update Bloodied Jewel (Patch 5.0), the game will receive its 10th Class. The Warlock rises in Diablo Immortal on June 17, and Hell will answer. Are you prepared to become a summoner of demons, master of portals, and wielder of Hell’s dark power?
Ancient Vizjerei summoners brought darkness to Sanctuary when they conjured demons to serve and empower them. For that offense, they were stripped of their titles, forbidden to practice demonology, and branded as the worst and vilest humans alive after the Mage Clan Wars.
Some of their tomes and writings survived confiscation by the Viz-Jaq’Taar Assassins. In the current age, lists of demons’ true names and old clan practices are being discovered by hedge mages and upstarts. Those who wield the forbidden powers of demonology earn the contemptible name “Warlock.”

Players will be able to experience the Warlock in multiple ways:
- Roll Fresh or Switch: Create a new character or use Class Change and experience the Warlock.
- Warlock Origin Quest: Begin the journey of a Warlock in the Origin Quest, Power’s Price, and learn to wield powerful demonic magics. Start the quest through the class change menu at the Shifting Flames in Westmarch, or through the Warlock Event Hub, Command the Hells.
- Fractured Plane: Play as a Warlock in the Fractured Plane event, a solo, roguelike limited-time event where you gain randomized Legendary essences and fight through the shifting corridors of your mind. This is a great place to try out all the Warlock’s Legendary items, fine-tune your playstyle, and experience Hellish new essences.
- Warlock Trial Dungeon: Select from three pre-set builds and enter a trial dungeon based on Mad King’s Breach with full stats and pre-selected gems to experience the full potential of the Warlock.
- Warlock Race: Engage in the limited- time speedrun event to master Warlock builds, with the opportunity to win exclusive speedrun portals.
