Diablo IV fans will be screaming ‘I love you Colonel Sanders,’ thanks to a new promo that bundles Early Access Beta codes with select KFC Sandwiches.
Kentucky Fried Chicken, the fast-food outlet with some devilishly good deals, has announced a new collaboration that should have the hordes flocking to grab a meal. The eatery is giving away access to the first stages of the Diablo Beta with select sandwiches at their stores. All fans of the latest Blizzard dungeon crawler will have to do is head over to the nearest outlet, order a Double Down or any other KFC® Sandwich on the app until March 18th to receive early access beta to the fiery & much anticipated Diablo IV. This new promo just dropped over on the KFC website, meaning there’s still plenty of time to make up your mind on what to order. You could pick a Chicken and Cheese Sandwich Combo or any of the other items flagged with the ‘Diablo Early Access’ banner. While this isn’t necessarily the way you might’ve expected to forge a path into Early Access, it’s the only realistic path for those that didn’t pre-order the title ahead of the June release across PC, PlayStation and Xbox.
The Early Access period kicks off on 17 March, and will grant players access to the prologue and the whole of the game’s first act. This isn’t all, with massive boss battles peppered in among the play time, and multiplayer challenges. While this means players can familiarize themselves with the upcoming battles, this pre-release test is limited to three classes. The full range of classes will unlock during the Open Beta on 24 March. To get a look at what’s on offer, have a look at the trailer news here.
This is hardly the first time that KFC as dipped its toe into gaming. We’ve seen everything from a chicken fuelled console to an on-brand dating sim, which we reviewed. If you’re only interested in taking a look at the bowels of hell a little early, then head over to the KFC website to get ordering and find out more about the latest Diablo over at the official website now.
