The Age of Hatred has ended and the veil of death looms over Sanctuary. Diablo IV welcomes the new Season of Death Awakening on June 30th.
Additionally, patch 3.1.0 is available for pre-download on June 25 on Battle.net, Xbox and PlayStation – take advantage to start playing ASAP. Seek out Pandemonium Ruptures, try out new builds and supercharge favorites with Mythic Uniques 3.0, ascend the newly released Tower and Leaderboards to earn new rewards, and carve your own fortune as Solo Self Found.
Dark rituals are creating Pandemonium Ruptures all across Sanctuary, giving entry to a new family of monsters and a chance to summon a boss. The longer you keep the Rupture open by killing these monsters and closing Tears, the more rewards you’ll earn. Rupture Goblins can also appear anywhere, opening additional Ruptures.
Completing Surging or Colossal Ruptures might lead to an encounter with a Realmwalker, the defeat of which opens a Portal to the Deathtoll Chamber – a one-room mini-dungeon.
Diablo IV – Other Season of Death Awakening Additions and Changes Include:
- New Seasonal Lair Boss – the Corrupted Reaper.

- Unique Charms and Non-Ancestral Uniques will be able to use Unique Power Reroll.
- Chromatic Tuning Prisms will have a small chance to provide All Resist.
