Digital Extremes Is Bringing More Than Just A Trailer To Summer Game Fest

Most publishers show up to Summer Game Fest with a trailer and maybe a demo. Digital Extremes appears to be taking a more ambitious approach. The studio behind Warframe and the upcoming Soulframe has revealed a packed schedule of events surrounding Summer Game Fest 2026, including a major new Soulframe trailer, a Warframe-themed café, an apparel collaboration, giveaways, and appearances during the Women-Led Games Showcase.

The week kicks off on June 4 when Warframe Creative Director Rebecca Ford and Community Director Megan Everett serve as guest hosts for the Women-Led Games Summer Showcase. The event will spotlight titles from women-led and majority-women development teams, with both Warframe and Soulframe featured during the broadcast.

The biggest reveal, however, arrives during Summer Game Fest’s main showcase on June 5. Digital Extremes has confirmed that Soulframe will receive a brand-new trailer during the event, offering another look at the fantasy adventure ahead of its eventual release. While Warframe has spent more than a decade building one of gaming’s most dedicated communities, Soulframe represents the studio’s first major new universe in years, making every public appearance noteworthy.

Warframe players will also have a reason to tune in. Anyone who watches the official Summer Game Fest broadcast for 30 consecutive minutes with linked Twitch and Warframe accounts can claim a free Dante Warframe through a Twitch Drop promotion. The timing coincides with the launch of the Dante Deluxe cosmetic, arriving alongside the Jade Shadows: Constellations update on June 17.

Outside the livestreams, Digital Extremes is making a substantial real-world presence in Los Angeles. The studio’s collaboration with fashion house ARK/8 will debut at a dedicated pop-up event from June 5 through June 8. The collection features limited-edition apparel inspired by Jade Shadows: Constellations, along with trivia contests, customization stations, giveaways, and a carnival-style “Simulacrum” challenge based on Warframe’s training arena.

Perhaps the most unexpected attraction is the Warframe Café at Summer Game Fest Play Days. Hosted at Cognoscenti Coffee Roasters, the café celebrates Warframe’s 13th anniversary with themed drinks, photo opportunities, giveaways, and Soulframe promotions. In a nice bit of Warframe-style numerology, the 13th customer each day will receive a special in-game reward.

The larger story here is that Digital Extremes is increasingly positioning Soulframe alongside Warframe rather than treating it as a separate project. Between shared showcase appearances, joint promotional events, and side-by-side branding throughout Summer Game Fest week, the studio seems eager to introduce its existing audience to its next major franchise. With Jade Shadows: Constellations launching just weeks later and Soulframe continuing to expand its Alpha testing, Summer Game Fest could end up being one of Digital Extremes’ busiest weeks in years.
