Developer Blizzard Entertainment reminds all players to tune in to the Diablo 30th Anniversary Spotlight, kicking off on February 11th! During the stream, the team will unveil the next class arriving with Lord of Hatred, a new force in Sanctuary that will reshape how you fight, survive and master the battlefield. Additionally, players will learn more about the updates to the skill tress and endgame systems first revealed in December.
“In addition to seeing what’s next for Diablo IV, you’ll also get a glimpse at what’s coming next for Diablo Immortal, Diablo II: Resurrected. Tune-in to our official Twitch and YouTube channels to catch the broadcast.”
Following the Diablo 30th Anniversary Spotlight, the developers will hold the Sanctuary Sitdown in the Sanctuary Discord.
The next major update for Diablo IV, the Lord of Hatred expansion, will be arriving on April 28, 2026. While Mephisto’s involvement in the base campaign was mostly subtle, with the players’ attention focused on pursuing Lilith, the scale of his influence became apparent with the release of the first expansion: Vessel of Hatred.
- Two new playable classes: Paladin and a mystery addition coming later. Paladins tap into the power of the Light to harness its might in combat. The Paladin is live now in-game. Pre-purchase any expansion edition to gain instant access to the Paladin and a bevy of other rewards. Plus, a second class will unlock at launch on April 28, 2026, included in each edition of the expansion.
- Major system & itemization updates: Horadric Cube, Talisman, Bonus Skill Variants
- New end game features: War Plans, Echoing Hatred, Fishing
- Permanent skill tree updates available for all 8 classes
- Other new features: loot filter, level cap increase, and more to be announced yet
