Developer Blizzard Entertainment reminds heroes of Azeroth to keep their eyes peeled: WoW Midnight announcement comes soon! During the Gamescom 2025 Opening Night Live on Tuesday, 19th of August at 11am PT/ 7pm BST / 8pm CEST, the team will unveil Midnight’s opening cinematic and usher in the new chapter. For those lucky enough to attend, that will also be the first opportunity to get your hands on World of Warcraft Housing!
In World of Warcraft: Midnight, the second chapter of the Worldsoul Saga, prepare to return to the old world and the fabled lands of Quel’Thalas. The Sunwell is in danger once again as the forces of darkness seek to destroy it or turn its power against the world. Of course, we haven’t seen the last of the Harbinger, Xal’atath, yet.
Go deeper into all things Midnight and hear directly from the people behind the game. During Gamescom 2025, there will be two developer panels for attendees of the show dedicated to exploring more of the features, zones, and story of Midnight live from the World of Warcraft Community Stage:
- The World of Midnight: A Further Look into the Zones, Quests, and Story: On August 21 at 13:00 CEST with Senior Game Director Ion Hazzikostas and Associate Design Director Maria Hamilton
- Systems Download: Diving Deeper into the Features of Midnight: On August 23 at 11:00 CEST with Senior Game Director Ion Hazzikostas and Associate Game Director Paul Kubit.
