Gamers spend an awful lot of time worrying about frame rates, refresh rates, RGB lighting, and whether their chair is slowly destroying their spine. The air around that expensive setup doesn’t always get the same attention. DREO is looking to change that with a new lineup of air purifiers, heating technology, and AI-powered home controls that will be showcased at IFA 2026.
The smart home company will be at IFA in Berlin from September 4 through 8 under the theme “AIR, Mastered.” The centerpiece will be DREO’s latest flagship air purifier, which the company says will combine new purification technology with connected features and a more immersive user experience.
For gamers looking for a comfortable game space, the more interesting development may be DREO’s approach to heating. Its next-generation heating technology introduces adaptive airflow designed to switch between focused heat and whole-room heating. That could be particularly useful in gaming spaces where a PC, monitor, and other hardware can turn a small room into a surprisingly effective sauna during a long gaming session.
DREO will also introduce DREO Air Intelligence, an AI-powered system intended to coordinate multiple home air devices based on real-time environmental conditions. Rather than treating an air purifier or heater as an isolated appliance, the system is designed to use environmental sensing and automated decision-making to adjust connected devices as conditions change.
That broader approach is becoming increasingly relevant to dedicated gaming spaces. A room can go from chilly before a gaming session to warm and stuffy several hours later, especially when multiple people and high-powered PCs are involved. Automated air management could handle some of those adjustments without requiring players to stop what they’re doing to fiddle with settings.
DREO will also participate in an IFA Dream Stage panel titled “How Air, Connectivity and Intelligence Bridge the Last Mile of Home Wellness.” The discussion will examine how AI and connected devices could make home wellness more responsive rather than simply automating individual appliances.
DREO’s booth will be located in Hall 9, Stand 130 at Messe Berlin from September 4 through 8. The Dream Stage panel is scheduled for September 4 from 12:45 to 1:15 p.m. CEST.
