Starting tomorrow, Fortnite players will have new ways to travel around the map and create mayhem for others with the arrival of drivable cars. The Joyride update is set for launch on August 5th. Epic is teasing one of the vehicles players will be able to get their hands on, namely The Whiplash.

Most vehicles that have been available in the game over the years have been handy resources for metal. A few, including golf carts, ATVs, and shopping carts have been “drivable”, but nothing with the awesome freedom and potential for vehicular slaughter that is coming in tomorrow’s update. At the moment, the Whiplash is the only known vehicle but there are sure to be a plethora more for players to find and enjoy.
