EA and Amazon Luna announced something of a collaboration today, bringing the EA catalog to this GeForce Now competitor.

Amazon’s online gaming streaming platform just got a load bigger, with the news that the online retailer has signed a multi-year agreement with EA to bring many of the publisher’s biggest titles to players. Starting today, the likes of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor™, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order™, and Dead Space are available to play with nothing much more than an Internet connection, a browser, and a controller.

The new arrangement means that players subscribe to the Amazon Luna+ platform will be able to log in and play Star Wars Jedi: Survivor™, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order™, and Dead Space™ instantly. No downloads, no patching, just click and play, thanks to the power of Amazon’s AWS services. EA is set to bring more titles to the streaming service, with the EA SPORTS portfolio confirmed for future updates.

“Our teams are focused on building experiences that entertain and engage EA’s massive online communities, and we’re excited to partner with Amazon to make those games available to even more people,” said David Tinson, EVP and Chief Experiences Officer, Electronic Arts. “We look forward to a selection of EA games joining Amazon Luna, offering new ways for players and fans to come together across a variety of devices they already own, wherever they are.”

What this doesn’t give us, is a timeline for release or a full list of future games, but for $9.99/£8.99 or local equivalent, you will get somewhere over 100 games to play. Plenty are hits like Control, Lego, Sonic Mania, and The Expanse. We’ll let Star Wars Pinball slide only because I spotted Dungeons of Hinterberg on the list too. The news also drops at the same time that Luna expands to Sweden, Portugal, Belgium, and Luxembourg, granting instant access to a library of more than 300 games on a broad variety of devices. Now available in 14 countries, the EA and Amazon lineup looks like it’ll get you in the game. Take a look at what’s available now for Luna + subscribers or play an array of epic games for free as part of your Prime Subscription too.
