Tenkarider and Tambù Digital have announced that Lostbound will be released on PC via Steam on October 6th, 2026. Fans of previous Tenkaride titles like HELL HUNTER are bound to love this new title.
The release date of October 6th is not yet shown on the Lostbound Steam page. However, those looking to purchase the game can add it to their wishlists or play through the demo that is available.
Lostbound Game Features
- Retro-inspired adventure exploration with roguelite progression
- Inspired by games such as Legend of Zelda and other 2D progression-style retro games
- Every world seed gives a different outcome every time (i.e. different dungeons, different Artifacts)
- Travel through a dark, crumbling world where every step counts, quite literally
- Plan out routes of travel and scavenging carefully before setting out on each adventure
- Use previous experience through failure to grow even stronger (Knowledge is power!)
- Try not to venture too far to not lose the way back home
- Traverse through dungeons with various rules (i.e. enemies, traps, secrets, rewards, etc.)
- Use time as the ultimate resource against the Abyss
- Reach the surface by nightfall or face the wrath of The Hand
- Outrun the reach of the Abyss and the ever-looming Hand
- Collect unique Artifacts in various types of dungeons
- Experiment with unique builds and develop a strategy that is just as unique
- Utilize special items like potions to keep going through dungeons and battling unique enemies
