The developers of MMORPG The Elder Scrolls Online have announced that player-made add-ons are now available on Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 consoles!
Introduced with the recent Update 46 base-game patch, but only now enabled, console add-ons can be found within ESO’s game menus. Here are the steps you need to take:
- After logging into the game, navigate to Options
- Navigate to Add-Ons and select Browse Add-Ons
- Find an add-on by navigating the menu
- Once you have found an add-on, press Select and then Install
- From this menu, you can also Report and see Release notes
- When an add-on is installed, you will see its status updated in the Browse menu
- When an add-on is installed, you can open it again to Uninstall, Reinstall, or Ignore Updates
From the main Add-Ons menu, you can also select Manage My Add-Ons to see a complete list of active add-ons. There, you can choose to Disable and Enable individual installed add-ons. The main Add-Ons menu also indicates your current add-on disk usage.
“Please remember that add-ons are created by members of the ESO community. Those community developers are responsible for the content and upkeep of their add-ons. If you encounter issues with an add-on, please reach out to the individual creator. If an add-on appears broken or otherwise causes issues, please disable and/or delete them.”
