The developers of MMORPG The Elder Scrolls Online (ESO) have shared the preview of the two new dungeons, base-game additions, and more – all coming to Tamriel with base game Update 47.
“The Update 47 patch helps continue your adventures in 2025 by introducing a new dungeon pack and a series of free base-game additions and changes. This new patch and content arrives August 18 on PC/Mac and September 3 on Xbox and PlayStation consoles.”
Feast of Shadows is the newest PvE dungeon pack that introduces two challenging four-player dungeons. Naturally, they come with their own unique story, in-game rewards, and more. Their storylines also tie thematically into the Seasons of the Worm Cult saga:
- In the Black Gem Foundry, you and your party must venture into a Coldharbor manufactory and shut down their ability to craft terrifying soul-stealing armaments.
- In Naj-Caldeesh, a group of Argonian necromancers seek to corrupt and control an ancient xanmeer’s keystone, and it is up to you and your allies to stop them before they can complete their nefarious machinations.
Feast of Shadows in including with the 2025 Content Pass or 2025 Premium Edition, and can also be accessed with the ESO Plus membership or by parchasing the pack from the in-game Crown Store.
Base Game Update 47 includes:
- The long-awaited and much-requested Mount Swimming functionality arrives, allowing you to remain mounted in the water.
- Stackable Survey Reports, similar to Update 46’s stackable crafting writs. This change will allow you to ensure your survey reports don’t litter your inventories!
- Stay tuned, there will be more!
