Aesir Interactive and Icebird Studios have presented a first playable Demo of the upcoming open-world action survival crafting game EverRail. Moreover, EverRail prepares to launch in Early Access later this Spring. The game is available during Steam Next Fest, from February 23rd to March 2nd, allowing players to test their survival skills before release.
EverRail is an open world survival craft odyssey, which brings players to the frozen world. The humanity’s only hope is a massive train moving through an endless icy land. The players have to keep it going, powering up its battery and gathering resources. For survival, they need to upgrade the train, explore the abandoned places and craft tools. The game offers both single or co-op mode up to 4 players.
Key Game Features
- Train-Based Survival: The train functions as a base of operations.
- Passenger Respawning: Each death places the player in control of another passenger. Respawning continues as long as passengers remain. New passengers can be found throughout the world.
- Glider Scouting: Use gliders to scout terrain, mark locations, and reach inaccessible areas.
- On-Foot Expeditions: Factories, ruins, and dungeons filled with enemies are scattered around the world. Battery life limits expedition time, requiring a balance between combat, looting, and exploration.
- Crafting and Upgrades: The players craft gears, weapons, and modules. They can upgrade train systems and customize wagon interiors to create a mobile base.
- Procedural World: An infinite frozen wasteland with shifting weather, terrain, enemies, and resources.
- Co-op Multiplayer: Drop-in/drop-out co-op for up to four players.
