Coming from Campfire Cabal and THQ Nordic, Expeditions: Samurai is an upcoming party-based RPG where every choice matters and the latest installment in the Expeditions series (following Viking, Conquistador and Rome). The game is set in our world during real historical events, with an intricate, branching story and a vibrant cast of characters. At every turn, you will be faced with life-or-death choices that will challenge your resolve.
The team shared a new dev vlog dedicated to the art direction of Expeditions: Samurai, inviting players to join them in the Copenhagen office. This is the first among the series of vlogs and trailers as the game moves towards its Early Access release.
“Since the changes in art direction have caused quite the stir, we thought it would be nice to start with a short look into these changes, and talk a little bit about what it brings to the table that you can now see your actual 3D character in dialogue.”

- Dynamic and fast-paced turn-based combat. Outnumbered but never outgunned, engage your enemies on your own terms in a fast and freeing turn-based combat system where movement, attacks, and interruptions can all play out simultaneously.
- Invite a friend in co-op or play alone. Play in single-player as your own Captain Flynn, or invite your friend and play as a pair of twins.
