Developer GIANTS Software released Farming Simulator 23 on Nintendo Switch! To celebrate the occasion, the game also received a special launch trailer that you can find above. The team also offered virtual farmers new crops, machines, animals (the chicken) alongside new gameplay features. Now you can have agricultural fun anywhere you go!
Two new maps, Amberstone and Neubrunn, which change their visuals based on seasons and invite for a stroll with plenty of collectibles. Meanwhile, the newly added chickens tie into the new production chains thanks to their precious eggs!
Players can participate in animal husbandry, forestry or put all their eggs in the basket of agriculture. While grapes, olives, and sorghum are added to the selection of overall 14 crops, new gameplay mechanics include plowing and weeding to extend the options to care for fields, as well as production chains.
“We’re proud to strengthen the series’ position as a figurehead for this family-friendly genre with this new benchmark for mobile farming”, comments Boris Stefan, Head of Publishing at GIANTS Software. “Farming Simulator 23 proves that simulation games are not limited to a selection of platforms, but can be played anywhere and anytime.”
