Developer Amazing Seasun Games just announced a surprise Mecha Break Open Beta, coming to PC during August.
Feel the steel and pilot gigantic robots in a battle for supremacy a when Mecha Break fires into Open Beta testing. Beginning on August 10 and running until August 13, the newly announced test phase is an opportunity for all comers to test their piloting skills in the cockpit of massive battle robots. Focused on the 6v6 Battlefield mode, this is an intense three-axis movement hero shooter experience that is set to give players who want to bust a mech, an opportunity to try out every available weapons platform, including new pilotable mech, Stego. For Amazing Seasun Games, it’s a chance to confirm server stability across North America, Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and the Asia-Pacific regions.
The team behind this upcoming experience also announced a limited test period for select attendees. This Closed Beta test will unlock for previous Mecha Break Closed Beta testers, hardcore community members, and influencers from August 2 to August 8. Registration will be available on Mecha Break’s Steam page starting July 26.

Mecha Break is, as you’d expect, inspired by the giant robot genre. Featuring a range of huge anthropomorphic metal constructions, this battlefield is awash with projectiles, missiles, plasma, and other weaponry. Putting players in the pilot’s seat, the in-depth customization, player created pilots, and a vast array of weapons makes this a particularly appealing approach to an established concept. Even better, it looks the part, The impressive graphics are accompanied by mech designs from esteemed artists Takayuki Yanase (Metal Gear, Gundam, Armored Core, Death Stranding) and Junya Ishigaki (Xenogears, Gundam, Macross). It certainly seems worth a try at the cost of absolutely nothing.
