Final Fantasy Distant Worlds Concerts Set to Sail Through the U.S. in 2026

After thrilling audiences around the world for nearly two decades, Distant Worlds: music from FINAL FANTASY is returning to the United States in 2026 with a fresh slate of symphonic performances that celebrate one of gaming’s most beloved franchises. The official concert series brings orchestral arrangements of iconic Final Fantasy music to life, combining live musicians, choral forces, and high-definition visuals to create an experience that appeals to fans of all ages.

Presented by AWR Music Productions and led by renowned conductor Arnie Roth, Distant Worlds has become one of the most enduring and respected video game concert tours since its debut in 2007. The series spans music from across the Final Fantasy franchise, spotlighting themes by legendary composers such as Nobuo Uematsu, Masayoshi Soken, Yoko Shimomura, Masashi Hamauzu, and others. Performances blend soaring orchestral textures with immersive visuals projected in sync with the music, offering both nostalgia and spectacle for longtime fans.

Tour dates in the U.S. kick off with Greensboro, North Carolina at the Tanger Center on February 7, where a full orchestra and chorus will perform beloved music from Final Fantasy XIV and Final Fantasy XVI, complete with HD video created specifically for this tour. In Philadelphia on March 21, audiences can expect a similar program featuring music from across the series with special vocal performances by original Final Fantasy vocalists. For the ultimate fan experience, one of the tour’s standout dates arrives June 13 at Carnegie Hall in New York City, celebrating the music of Final Fantasy legend Nobuo Uematsu himself, alongside original vocalists and a full orchestra and choir.
