astragon Entertainment and weltenbauer. released a brand-new trailer for Firefighting Simulator: Ignite, giving players a smoky taste of the dramatic “Heat of the City” mission, set in a bustling shopping mall. The video also reveals the first details of the upcoming “Summer Camp” DLC, arriving later this year.
In “The Heart of the City”, players will be deployed in the Oakridge City shopping mall to respond to a demanding scenario. The fire breaks out in the middle of the day, while many people are still inside the building, which makes the rescue operations a top priority. Unconscious persons and people stranded on the roof must be brought to safety. The raging fire poses a major challenge as well: due to electrical and grease fires, different extinguishing methods must be used.
Firefighting Simulator: Ignite is published by astragon Entertainment, developed by weltenbauer. Software Entwicklung GmbH, and supported by the Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Action.
The new game from the developers of the Construction Simulator franchise is powered by Unreal Engine 5 and will be on Steam, Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S September 9, 2025. The game is now available for pre-order across all platforms — complete with the Fire Station Companion Pack as a pre-order bonus. Physical copies will be available in select countries.
