The oddball RPG for heroes, fools, and tyrants alike has a PC release date.
It’s not often we see a title that’s part RPG, part oddball personality test, and utterly charming all at once., but Freeride isn’t like a lot of other games. After garner more than a little social buzz about it, this unexpected adventure is due to come to PC on 1 May. A confirmed release date means that players can soon hop on board a cartoon train to the spirit realm and learn a little bit about themselves as you chart your own psychological path through the challenges that await.
Flightyfelon Games and publisher Future Friends Games just dropped the news last night, meaning there’s plenty of time to pack ahead of departure. Players picking up the title, on PC will be able to explore a spirit world that’s filled with wonderous landscapes and strange characters. Along the way these new friends will need some help fixing broken relationship and ailing their own troubles. Help them sole their own unfinished business and explore a range of branching storylines. Make conscious and unconscious decisions; while realising you’re in one big personality test.
How that test turns out all depends on your actions. Whether you leave use your physics-based telekinetic powers to chuck fish, play games, or fight evil will help determine the outcome. With an adorable look and tons of potential personality-based replays, Freeride lets you choose who you want to be.
