Coming from developer Snapshot Games Inc. and publisher Arc Games, Frosthaven is a dark fantasy tactical RPG now available in Steam Early Access. The game also boasts at 10% discount until August 7.
As an evolution of the Frosthaven board game experience, the game offers deep mechanics and challenging yet immensely satisfying gameplay whether you are trying it solo or in co-op. The Early Access version features roughly one-third of the intended full version content. There will be more content and gameplay improvements added in game updates approximately three months from each other.
You will have the ability to build your own Outpost, by constructing buildings and completing events which will lead to unlocking new game features. Whether you’ve played hours upon hours of the board game or if you’re a newcomer, you’ll be able to jump in and get right into the action immediately. There are eight characters (six starting, two unlockable), more than 35 tactical quests, including tutorial, and over 100 choice-driven events.
