The developers of the unexpected hit Palworld have taken to the official Steam page to share their roadmap & plans regarding the future of the game. Palworld released into Steam Early Access on January 19th and exploded the charts. In just 5 days, over 7 million players have purchased the game. In fact, Palworld’s concurrent online players’ peak managed to topple that of Counter-Strike’s, 1,864,421 vs. 1,818,773! The only game that withstood the relentless onslaught of Pokemon with guns is PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds with its 3,257,248 concurrent players.
The developers are not ready to stop, however, and so it’s time to look at the future of the game, including its Early Access roadmap:
“Sales have far exceeded the development team’s expectations, and we are currently experiencing many problems due to excessive access congestion, among other challenges. We will prioritize improving this issue first, and then move on to implementing new in-game features.”
