Gachiakuta: The Game Announced

Com2uS has announced the development of the cross-platform action RPG Gachiakuta: The Game. Based on the popular manga and anime, the project promises to take players into the merciless world of The Pit. The announcement followed the official trailer built entirely with in-development graphics. The game will feature original graffiti of Hideyoshi Andou and Kei Urana’s art style. Moreover, the gameplay promises to be dynamic and challenging, including survival elements and action.

Gachiakuta is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Kei Urana, serialized in Weekly Shōnen Magazine since 2022. The anime adaptation aired earlier this year, with the second season recently announced. The manga tells a story of a boy, Rudo, who was falsely accused of murdering his foster father. In this cruel world, people with low status have no justice, and thus no one tries to find the truth. Rudo ends up thrown into “The Pit”—a massive dump where society discards its trash and criminals. From now on, he tries to survive in the living hell, seeking revenge and justice.

The release date is still unknown, but it’s confirmed that Gachiakuta: The Game will come to PlayStation 5, Xbox Serie,s and PC  (Steam), including cross-platform play. Com2uS promises more updates soon and asks to stay tuned for more exciting details to come.
