GameSir G7 Pro Dragon’s Dogma 2 Edition Brings TMR Sticks And Tri-Mode Play To Xbox And PC

GameSir is expanding its controller lineup with the GameSir G7 Pro Dragon’s Dogma 2 Edition, a themed pro-grade gamepad inspired by Dragon’s Dogma 2. Designed with multi-platform support and competitive features in mind, the controller is available now for $89.99 through GameSir’s website.

Built on the foundation of the G7 series, the Dragon’s Dogma 2 Edition keeps the core performance upgrades of the G7 Pro while layering on a fantasy-themed design based on the world of Gransys. The most notable addition is GameSir’s Mag-Res TMR stick technology, making this the first officially Xbox-licensed controller to adopt the hybrid design. The sticks combine traditional potentiometer efficiency with Hall Effect durability, aiming to eliminate drift while improving responsiveness.

Performance is clearly the focus here. When connected to a PC via wired or 2.4GHz wireless, the controller supports a 1000Hz polling rate, delivering near-instant input for competitive play. Hall Effect analog triggers provide smooth, precise control, while built-in trigger stops enable a “hair trigger” mode for faster actuation in shooters or action-heavy games.

Customization also plays a major role. The controller includes four programmable macro inputs, with two additional bumpers and two rear buttons, giving players more flexibility for complex control schemes. A built-in gyroscope, available on PC, opens the door for motion-based aiming and control.

On the tactile side, GameSir has equipped the controller with optical micro-switch ABXY buttons and a mechanical D-pad for crisp, responsive feedback. Four independent rumble motors are distributed across the grips and triggers, adding localized haptic feedback to everything from combat impacts to environmental effects. Powering the controller is a built-in 1200mAh battery, paired with a smart charging dock that automatically starts and stops charging. The dock also doubles as storage for the wireless receiver, keeping setups clean and organized.

Connectivity is another highlight. The G7 Pro supports wired play on Xbox, wired and 2.4GHz wireless on PC, and Bluetooth on Android, with a physical switch for quick platform changes. A 3.5mm headset jack is included for audio across wired and wireless modes. Players can further tweak performance through the GameSir Nexus 2.0 software, which allows for stick curve adjustments, gyroscope tuning, and advanced button mapping.

The Dragon’s Dogma 2 Edition also leans heavily into its themed design. A three-part magnetic faceplate features exclusive artwork inspired by the Arisen, and it remains compatible with other G7 faceplates for additional customization. GameSir also includes two interchangeable D-pads for different playstyles.

With its mix of anti-drift tech, high polling rates, and deep customization, the GameSir G7 Pro Dragon’s Dogma 2 Edition is clearly aimed at players who want competitive performance wrapped in a bit of RPG flair. The controller is available now for $89.99 from GameSir’s official site, with Amazon availability expected at a later date.
