GameSir has officially launched the GameSir G7 Pro 8K PC Aimlabs Edition, a new premium controller aimed directly at competitive PC gamers and esports players. Developed in partnership with Aimlabs, the controller combines a tournament-focused feature set with Aimlabs’ recognizable cyan styling. The biggest selling point is its 8000Hz polling rate over both wired USB-C and 2.4GHz wireless connections, allowing the controller to send inputs to the PC up to 8000 times per second for extremely low latency. That puts the G7 Pro 8K firmly into enthusiast territory, especially for players focused on competitive shooters and reaction-heavy games.
The controller also introduces GameSir’s Mag-Res Gen-2 TMR thumbsticks, which use magnetic technology to reduce wear and eliminate stick drift while delivering smoother and more precise movement than the company’s previous generation sticks. Dual-mode trigger stops allow players to swap between Hall Effect analog triggers and click-style micro switch triggers depending on the game they are playing.
Additional features include four remappable macro buttons, optical micro switch ABXY buttons, a mechanical micro switch D-pad, built-in gyro support, and dual asymmetric rumble motors. The controller also supports 3.5mm audio in both wired and wireless modes and ships with a charging dock and 1200mAh battery.
Compared to the original GameSir G7, the new Pro 8K model is a substantial upgrade. The standard G7 focused on affordability and reliability, offering Hall Effect sticks and solid customization features in a wired-only format. It was designed as an alternative to more expensive pro controllers without sacrificing core performance features.
The G7 Pro 8K expands on that formula with wireless support, significantly faster polling, upgraded thumbsticks, dual trigger modes, lockable back buttons, gyro controls, swappable magnetic faceplates, and deeper macro customization. The overall design also feels more premium and more aggressively targeted toward esports players than the original model.
At $89.99, the G7 Pro 8K Aimlabs Edition costs more than the standard G7 lineup, but still undercuts many competing high-end controllers from larger gaming brands. The controller is now available on the official GameSir website and Amazon.
