The developers from OSome Studio and publisher Microids have announced platformer Garfield – Escape from Monday. The famous orange cat is back, and he never stopped hating a certain day of the week. Yet this time it’s more than just a day. Garfield has to escape a true nightmare full of vegetable and sugar-free candies. The adventure promises to start later this year, on September 24th.
Garfield – Escape from Monday is a 3D platformer, set in the crazy world of dreams. After Jon serves Garfield spinach lasagnas made from Chef Monday’s recipe, the lazy cat drifts into a deep slumber. To awaken and restore his sense of taste, he must journey through strange dream worlds, battle quirky enemies, and consume massive amounts of lasagna.
Throughout the game, Garfield receives help from Jon, Odie, Arlene, and Pookie. Moreover, special costumes give him unique abilities which help to overcome obstacles on his adventure.

- Movement: Jump, climb walls, curl into a ball. The character always lands on its feet.
- Forms: Airborne turkey form, water sliding surfer form, swinging cowboy lasso form.
- Characters: Jon, Odie, and Pookie assist. Nermal and Squeak appear as antagonists.
