Amazon’s Throne & Liberty got a version 2.6 update this week, adding a bunch of tweaks to the latest content in the land of Talandre. Following on from the massive expansion that dropped last month, subsequent updates have added new runes, raids, Bosses and so much more. To make the most of all the new content and collaborative experiences that await in this MMORPG, we’re offering codes that will furnish adventurers with free fully upgraded Rare-quality Tier 2 gear!
Tier 2 Gear
Tier 2 gear was first announced during February’s combat change preview. It imbues players with effects that will impact combat and, of course, introduces more power to the player. Normally you’d need to find field bosses or get on the grind to wrap your hands around something game changing, before taking on the foreboding dungeons like the Mansion of Tragedy, Chapel of Madnes, or Twisted Laboratory.
We don’t want you to spend the whole weekend jumping back into Throne & Liberty to try out the newest expansion and then spend it sorting your gear! Instead, you can grab a code to catch up with free fully upgraded Rare-quality Tier 2 gear.
What Can I Win
You can loot a time-limited special pack that contains all of the following:
One Weapon Selection Chest from the Resistance Vanguard Set (choose 2 weapons)
One of the following armor selection chests. There are options for all players, whether you prefer Tanking, DPS, or Healing.
Holy Truth increases Cooldown Speed, Swamp Assassin improves Attack Speed, and Plateau Watcher reduces damage taken.
All items are +9 level with pre-selected traits.
This powerful gear can be equipped at any level and will make the Wilds of Talandre content far more accessible for new and returning players.
Please note all gear is character-bound (non-tradeable), cannot be transferred into other gear, cannot be dissolved, and cannot be sold to merchants.
How To Enter
We’re going to make this a super quick-fire competition.
Head to the widget below, or jump over to the dedicated link here and and enter to LOOT. There are no restrictions on who can enter, although the codes are specific to the global version of the game, so make sure you can play.
How to Redeem
Redemption is easy. Just wait for a key and if you’ve won head to the LOTRO Store (from the menu or by default Control+S), click on the Redeem Code link, enter the code, and then hit Submit.
If you receive a code, redeem it in game:
Launch THRONE AND LIBERTY and progress to the Title Screen.
Either select an existing character or create a new one.
Complete the tutorial and progress to Kastleton to unlock the Coupon feature.
Open the Main Menu and select the Coupon button from the right-most pane.
Enter the coupon code received, then press the Use button.
The relevant rewards will automatically become available on the character once the coupon is claimed.
