Developer HoYoverse is back with the Collected Miscellany video for Dahlia, the newest 4-star to join the roster of Genshin Impact.
Dahlia is a Hydro support character who can provide shields and attack speed buffs for his teammates. His Elemental Skill can launch characters upward or deal AoE Hydro damage to enemies. Elemental Burst summons a shield and increases the attack speed of the active character.
He can serve as an F2P support on the Skirk team, whose banner is also his debut. Despite him being the Deacon and his art that shows him wielding book, he’s actually a Sword-using character. Get those Favonius swords ready!
The herald of Barbatos and an old friend of Venti (which is the same thing), Dahlia took part in the latest Archon Quest Interlude in Mondstadt. Many Mondstadters believe that Deacon Dahlia has the Anemo Archon’s favor, and that asking him for guidance is a reliable path to answers from Barbatos himself. Meanwhile, he is drawn to the disturbances and troubles of the world, like a dandelion seed chasing a bustling breeze.
On days when the believers do not come to him, he often goes to them instead — leaving the Cathedral and strolling through Mondstadt’s streets to look for trouble he might get involved in. Obligation to spread the good word? Hardly — he does this out of personal interest.
“Dahlia is always able to help people with their woes, and he calls it the guidance of the wind. But how could the wind possibly make sense of mortal squabbles? However, after asking him a few more questions, Dahlia will reply solemnly thus: “‘Tis merely a prophetic word from the Archon.”
