Developer HoYoverse shared the latest Genshin Impact story teaser, What Still Lies Unwritten, showing the emotional conclusion to Durin’s Story Quest ‘Draco Rubedo Chapter’. If you still haven’t finished it – after all, it takes 5 real days to write the book left to him by his mother! – you might want to skip on watching this animated video to avoid spoilers.

Durin, a little fairytale dragon whose life started from the ink on the pages of a magical book. Encountered during the summer event in Simulanka, he’s since gone on a grant adventure on his own, managing to break away from the role of the evil dragon: made friends with the Wanderer and his companions in Sumeru, met Albedo and acquired a human body, and had been learning the trying craft of socializing.
Initially, his fate was supposed to repeat that of the dragon he had been named after, the abyssal monster brought to life by “Gold” Reindottir. However, his mother’s love and some magical help from her friends managed to turn the story around.
Where will this story go from now on? This is for Durin to write in the future.
