Developer HoYoverse is back with even more details regarding Genshin Impact Luna I, the first patch dedicated to Nod-Krai. The team shared a recording of the live orchestra playing the region’s main theme and the combat OST, produced by HOYO-MiX and brought to life by the London Symphony Orchestra, the London Voices choir, singers AURORA and Clara Sorace, and renowned folk musicians.
As is usually the case, the music of the new region stands in a sharp contrast to the previous regions: not just to Natlan, but to Sumeru, Inazuma, Fontaine, and others as well. Completely different instruments and flow allow the music to weave its own story before the expansion is oven live.
“A big thank you to Stagecast for their support with filming and production, and TAKEOFF Studios for providing collaboration support.”
But these are not the only Nod-Krai reveals to hit. The developers have also shared a bit of lore with all Frostmoon Scion lovers and future Lauma mains: Lauma character anecdote. In it, the Priestess shares her opinion that humans could never build a tower to reach the heavens. All the while, the gentle Moon Goddess spreads her grace without incertitude.
The trio of articles dedicated to Nod-Krai features go deeper on the effect that moonlight has on the region. The first one, Lunology and You, shows how to use the Moon Goddess’ blessing to move and destroy heavy objects or manipulate mechanisms. The second focuses on all kinds of robots powered by the kuuvahki – it is said they’re all creations of Aino. Currently the last (but not the least!), outlines the Kuuhenki. They’re familiars of the Moon Goddess and creatures native to Nod-Krai. These light and airy companions seem to lead fated travelers along their journey. Sometimes, they would even empower them with kuuvahki to solve puzzles!
