Genshin Impact developers are back with a new trailer dedicated to Varesa, a new 5-star Electro Catalyst debuting in Version 5.5. She is accompanied by Iansan, a hero of Natlan and her coach, a new 4-star Electro Polearm buffer that might lessen the pressure on Bennett in some teams.
“Gather round and listen well to the legend of a warrior. You know, the one who wears a mask, has horns on her head, and boasts strength unrivaled by any other. Such a story should be complemented by an equally heroic helping of Blazed Meat Stew and sweet Volcano Cakes.”
Varesa is a 5-star Electro Catalyst user who uses Plunging Attacks to trigger her Fiery Passion state. While in this state, she deals more Electro DMG, and can access a special Elemental Burst with reduced Energy cost. To quickly enter this state, Varesa can tap her Elemental Skill, then follow up with Normal Attacks to perform swift Plunging Attacks. Additionally, her unique talent helps restore Phlogiston after the party consumes food. As her Tribal Chronicle will reveal, Varesa is only fierce in battle, and leads a daily life almost far too laid-back.

- Two new characters: Varesa (5-star Electro Catalyst) a plunge DPS; Iansan (4-star Electro Polearm) who provides buffs and heals. Both can dash and perform flying leaps during exploration.

- Two new artifact sets: Long Night’s Oath & Finale of the Deep Galleries.
- New Map: The Great Volcano of Tollan stands with a sacred city and a multi-layered map within the volcano’s depths.
- New Tribe & Saurian: The Collective of Plenty is the final tribe, and it arrives with a new Saurian, the Tatankasaurus, which can charge and smash through gargantuan rocks.
