Developer HoYoverse is back with a new trailer dedicated to Varka – the newest 5-star Anemo Claymore coming to Genshin Impact in the upcoming Version Luna V. The man, the myth, the legend had been mentioned in passing all the way since Version 1.0, and left an impression on everyone in Mondstadt. Even in the trailer above, we see Noelle and Razor approach him for training, while Klee is searching for mischief partner.

A blade in each hand for a flurry of quick blows: that’s what exhilarating combat is all about. In his core combat mode, Varka fights with just Anemo, gathering his teammates’ elemental energy and imbuing it into his weapon. The skill deals Anemo damage and additional corresponding Elemental damage based on the types of party members. This elemental damage cannot be overriden by infusions.
When there are at least 2 characters of the same element in the party, the skill damage is further increased. In core combat mode, hitting enemies with Normal Attacks will reduce the CD of Special E and Special Charged Attacks. After unlocking Hexerei: Secret Rite, CD will be further reduced.
