The developers of anime aciton-adventure Genshin Impact are back with another character teaser. The latest video is dedicated to Chiori, the Thundering Seamstress, the latest 5-star Geo Sword-user. She is the owner the owner of Chioriya Boutique and a tailor renowned throughout Fontaine.
“Chiori’s tailoring is unbound by tradition. It matters not what specific fabrics are chosen, nor even which tools are used to cut them — but how they are cut, therein lies the magic. Though there are some rules indeed, such as the order in which her clients are served and the strict standards of detail she adheres to, that brook no compromise.”
Chiori is an off-field sub-DPS character. She can summon her doll assistant, “Tamoto,” to deal DMG based on her Defense and Attack. If a Geo Construct is nearby, Chiori will summon one additional “Tamoto.” When casting her Elemental Burst, she will draw her twin blades and execute a clean cut, dealing AoE Geo damage. During exploration, Chiori can increase party members’ Movement Speed by 10% if one of the party members is wearing a non-default outfit or wind glider. You will get to learn more about the character during her Story Quest, also coming in this update.
Chiori’s first banner appears in Version 4.5: “Blades Weaving Betwixt Brocade” on March 13th.
