Following the introduction of Wanderer, developer HoYoverse is back with the character demo for the new Anemo 4-star archer Faruzan. Don’t be mistaken by her timid appearance – Madam Faruzan, the Master of Ingenious Devices, will whip your foes into shape with her abilities.
Much of Haravatat’s research revolves around a vast array of ancient scripts and codes, which many scholars find tedious and unbearable. However, this doesn’t seem to be a problem for Madam Faruzan who enjoys self-identifying as everyone’s senior, and has significant knowledge of ancient scripts and machines of all kinds.
“These incompetent students skim through some scripts for a few days and are already moaning and groaning. Ahem, I have been researching it for a whole hundred years!”
According to the official site, Faruzan is a support character that can increase Anemo damage dealt for party members to the happiness of Wanderer and Xiao mains around the world.
Her Elemental Skill enhances her next Aimed Shot, allowing it to apply a “Pressurized Collapse” effect to characters, monsters or the location hit. This creates a vortex that pulls in enemies and deals damage to them. With her Elemental Burst, Faruzan will deploy a “Dazzling Polyhedron” that moves along a certain path. It provides an Anemo damage bonus to all nearby team members. Additionally, it also releases a Whirlwind Pulse periodically and decreases Anemo resistance of nearby opponents.
