Genshin Impact just kicked off Version 4.8, the last patch of the Fontaine cycle. In addition to a number of QoL improvements, it also brought certain fixes. One such fix was related to Neuvillette’s abnormal rotation speed during his charged attack. To solve the issue, HoYoverse capped how fast Neuvillette can spin, which in turn put a limit on his potential AoE DPS output.
When the issue was pointed out by the CN community, the developer decided to rollback the initial fix and restore the Iudex’s ability to spin to win. Additionally, all eligible players are getting Primogems x1,600 as a compensation. Thank Neuvillette for some extra Natlan funds!
“Please log in between 2024/07/18 19:00 – 2024/08/28 06:00 (UTC+8) to receive your compensation. The mail will expire after 30 days, so don’t forget to claim the attached compensation in time.”
At the moment, Genshin Impact is going through Version 4.8 Phase 1, featuring the reruns of Navia and Nilou.
