During the Version Luna III livestream, the developers of open-world action-adventure Genshin Impact have revealed a new wave of buffs hitting characters old and new. Originating from the witches of the Hexenzirkel and the Anemo Archon, these Hexerei improvements will have you return to Mondstadt and take part in some magical adventures.
“The Mondstadt Library recently received a new collection of books, and one of them seems rather special. It turns out to be a gift from Alice herself! To meet a future none can foresee, make sure you and your companions are ready! Come take a look~“
First, you need to complete Alice’s Witch’s Homework quests that are tailored to each of the participating characters – Venti, Mona, Albedo, Durin, Klee, Sucrose, Fischl and Razor. Each quest unfolds a unique story for the respective character and even changes their Constellation effects!
Note that your characters need to be level 70 or above to take part in the quests. Additionally, completing the tutorial quest will allow you to invite Razor, Fischl or Sucrose.
After completing the related quests, the corresponding characters will become Hexerei characters. Having 2 such heroes together in your party activates the Hexerei: Secret Rite effect. For example, it allows you to turn Venti from off-field RES reduction support to an actual on-field Anemo DPS. When his Stormeye is active, his Normal Attack will be transformed into powerful “Windsunder Arrows” that can pierce enemies and have a chance to further extend the Duration of his Stormeye.
