Genshin Impact is about to kick off Version 5.5 Phase II, and so it’s time to catch up on everything it has to offer. Developer HoYoverse shared a couple of blog posts to detail the upcoming banners, events, and more. Let’s check them out!
If you have skipped Xilonen’s initial release banner, you can finally pick her up! Not only that, but due to rerunning with Venti and his signature weapon Elegy for the End, you can also get her Peak Patrol Song without being afraid of losing to a useless weapon. The threat of the Bell and standard weapons still exists, though.
Not only is she an amazing all-purpose buffer that can ease the load on your Kazuha, but she’s also a must-have partner for Mavuika. On the other hand, Venti has proven himself to be the king of crowd control when you are fighting against smaller opponents. Throw in Elegy for the End, the VV-set, and you are set for heavy AoE-scenarios… and can ease the load on your Kazuha yet again.
If you are all set, however, you might want to keep your Primogems for the upcoming characters: Escoffier and Ifa.

- 5-star characters: Xilonen (Geo Sword) & Venti (Anemo Bow);
- 4-star characters: Beidou (Electro Claymore), Faruzan (Anemo Bow), Yanfei (Pyro Catalyst);

Genshin Impact – Version 5.5 Phase II Events Include:
- Quirky Quaking Arena (April 21 to May 2). During the event period, Travelers can use trial characters to collect as many Adventure Coins as possible within the time limit. Awards Primogems, Hero’s Wit, Sanctifying Unction, and more.
- Rhythm Ball Meztli (April 28 to May 6). Move your paddle to return incoming balls and break bricks. Achieve higher scores within the time limit or defeat Rhythm Bosses as quickly as possible to earn resources and rewards.
- Overflowing Favor (April 4 to April 21). Successfully challenge Domains of Blessings (Artifacts) and consume Original Resin to double your rewards, up to 3 times a day.
