Developer HoYoverse is back with more details regading Genshin Impact Version 5.7 Phase 2 character & weapon banners, events, and more! The Cryo era is coming to its end, it’s time to bring the heat! Pyro Archon Mavuika returns with her first rerun.
For those looking to build Pyro-oriented or specifically Burn teams, the upcoming banners have some select characters and weapons. Let’s go over them.
Not only is Mavuika enjoying her first rerun, but Emilie broke out of Fortress Meropide as well. The release of this character was overshadowed with the imminent release of Natlan when she was first available, but now? She’s a must-have teammate for Kinich (who just had his banner as well), if you are looking to build a Burn team.
Not only is the duo incredibly powerful against the Lava Dragon Statue (currently available in Stygian Onslaught as the 2nd boss), they can also make a quick work of the Tenebrous Papilla. This one boss is the reason for many failed Spiral Abyss run due to its frequent attack/Nightsoul attacks mechanic.
The four stars are surprisingly decent as well, including Iansan, one of the strongest 4-star supports in the game.

- 4-star weapons: The Flute (Sword), Rainslasher (Claymore), Dragon’s Bane (Polearm), Sacrificial Fragments (Catalyst), and Rust (Bow).
Genshin Impact – Version 5.7 Phase 2 Events Include:
- Fearsome Ferocious Forepower (July 21 – July 29). Control the turret and make use of a variety of different ammunition types to effectively deal with the opponents. Rewards include Primogems, character talent materials, and more.
- Reminiscent Regiment: Frenzy event (July 14 – July 24). After successfully completing a challenge, Travelers will gain Frenzy Stars based on their performance.
- Overflowing Abundance (July 7 – July 14). Double drops with Talent Level-Up materials and Weapon Ascension materials.
