Developer HoYoverse is back with more details regarding Genshin Impact Version 5.7 Phase I, including character & weapon banners, and events.
The new update lands on Wednesday, June 18, bringing along a new main story quest about the Traveler and the Twin, the return of Dainsleif, two new playable characters, new endgame, enhancements and more. The Traveler is plagued with nightmares, and only the mysterious swordswoman Skirk can assist with putting them to rest by using her control over the Abyss.
Meanwhile, a new unrest brews between the Traveler twins. A new power is rising, and so too does the story of the Travelers march toward a pivotal new phase.
But before that, let’s talk characters! Version 5.7 Phase I will see the addition of two new characters: Skirk (5-star Cryo Sword) and Dahlia (4-star Hydro Sword), running simultaneously. Shenhe (5-star Cryo Polearm) is also out of the Cryo basement in case you need her for Skirk’s team.

- Gift of the Enlightenment – claim the new artifact material Dust of Enlightenment x2 in your mailbox.
- Battle of Imagined Arrays – complete various challenges to obtain Speculative Records. Reach a certain amount of them to invite Sethos (4-star Electro Bow) and obtain Primogems, Crown of Insight, and more.
- Stygian Onslaught endgame mode – complete challenge objectives of different difficulties to obtain bountiful rewards.
- Travelers’ Tales: Gilded Chapter – encounter playable characters around Teyvat to listen to their anecdotes.
- Limited-time Story Quest rewards – complete Skirk’s Story Quest within the specified duration to obtain additional rewards.
- First-Clear Rewards added to Trounce Domains.
