Step aside, Albedo, there’s a new genius at play! Developer HoYoverse is back with the teaser of things to come, revealing that Mitya is the next playable character joining the roster. It comes as no suprise considering his participation in the Archon Quests of Snezhnaya.
Mitya – Electro
Mitya, the energy expert who ought to be buried in important work, can often be found wandering the streets of Snezhnograd, enjoying the leisure his talent has bought him. People expect a researcher to devote himself to his work, or at the very least, not neglect his duties. But he would argue: how can someone who takes no joy in life hope to do good work?
Eventually, he got his wish. His increasingly cavalier approach to his schedule, coupled with his habit of taking it upon himself to rewrite absence reports as further arguments in his own defense, earned him the assistance of a major who took time management very seriously indeed. Congratulations were in order.
“Research differs from production — efficiency is not the gold standard. I have worked alongside many gifted individuals, and I know well that talent and eccentricity tend to go hand in hand. But the one thing that never disappoints is the ‘answers’ they provide.” — Pierro, “The Jester,” responding to the insinuation that Mitya holds special privileges
“I’ve applied for his scarf to be granted greater authority to help prevent leaks of classified information. In the vast majority of security inquiries, bystanders are considered innocent.” — Valeriy, Commander, Special Assignments Battalion
Valeriy – Electro
To protect the Armory Palace and its personnel, elite troops from the 1st Grenadier Regiment were reorganized into the Special Assignments Battalion, serving as the institution’s dedicated guard under the command of Major Valeriy. His service record is particularly distinguished. He has led his troops in wiping out six concentrations of monsters linked to Ley Line disturbances, crushing three vicious Volkodlak gangs, and eliminating more than eighty percent of the rampaging chimeric monsters west of Snezhnograd…
He also schedules the entire battalion’s duties with unfailing precision, day after day, year after year… all without an adjutant’s assistance.
In recent years, however, military observers have noted something surprising: Major Valeriy has become a frequent visitor to the Korolevskiy Theater and Podvorye Restaurant, among other entertainment venues… Major Valeriy declines to comment on any of the speculation. He continues to let his impeccable time management and faultless organization at work speak for themselves.
There will always be work that calls for contingency plans, and deadlines that simply cannot be missed. And someone must always bear the strain, keep a constant eye on the schedule, and head off delays and mishaps.
“Oh, that officer? Don’t go thinking all he does is chase me around announcing the time and nagging me to get back to work. If anyone threatens the Armory Palace’s projects or researchers, you’ll get to witness a terrifying sight: ‘a fortress going on the offensive and rolling right over people.'” — Mitya
