Genshin Impact kicked off the latest update: Version 5.6 is available now, and with it new characters, new story, bosses, and more.
In the current version, the Travelers take a small break from Natlan and set off to visit some familiar sights: a new event in Fontaine, Windblume Festival in Mondstadt, even the underwater ruins of Remuria. On this journey, Travelers will also run into new and familiar faces: Ororon, Ifa and Kinich are on their way to Fontaine, while Venti, Albedo and Dahlia take the center stage in the new Archon Quest Interlude. Of course, Escoffier is also setting the kitchen on fire during the event.
“Seek the origin of spices in a single spoonful of soup, and the path to light amidst the shadows. In the season of wind and flowers, someone has arranged a game of chess — where truth and falsehood intertwine. Perhaps those who rise to the challenge will find themselves one step closer to the truth.”
However, things are not exactly festive in Mondstadt despite the celebration season. The events take a turn for the worse as an unexpected trial places Albedo in the crosshairs of all. Travelers will find themselves thrown into an investigation and more alongside Venti, familiar faces from the Knights of Favonius, new allies like Dahlia, as well as the Hexenzirkel’s very own Lady Alice.
