Developer HoYoverse is back with more details regarding the upcoming Genshin Impact expansion and its first Version Luna I Phase I. The new blog posts outlined new banners, events, and features to look forward to. Let’s check them out! In Version Luna I, Travelers leave the fiery Natlan behind to instead set out to the frozen plains of Nod-Krai in search of Moon powers.
The region introduced a new sub-class of reactions with the addition of Ineffa. This trend continues with the introduction of Lauma, new 5-star Dendro Catalyst that brings Lunar Bloom. Utilizing the Verdant Dew, a special resource generated from the Lunar-Bloom reaction, she can boost her team’s Bloom-related damage. With her unique bond with animals, she can even take on a half-human, half-deer form to sprint and leap with agility.
Note that everyone will get a free copy of Aino (4-star Hydro Claymore) for free through questing. Otherwise, she’s a part of the Phase II banner. Between her and the featured 4-stars, the banner below is just what you need to get a Lunar Bloom / Lunar Hyperbloom team going! And if you grab Nilou off the Chronicle banner? You will be set for at least a few versions for sure.

Genshin Impact – Version Luna I Phase I Events Include:
- To Temper Thyself and Journey Far – a permanent periodic event, with each cycle lasting approximately 12 weeks. It allows you to select a Stella Fortuna (Constellation) for your existing 5-star characters for free. You can earn up to 4 Stella Fortuna each year by completing designated quests during the event duration. That includes certain limited 5-star characters.
- Uncover Lunar Realms, Hone the Eventide Radiance – during the event, you can invite a 5-star character of your choice from the Standard Banner. You will also receive Ascension Level-Up materials for the chosen character.
- The Clink Clank Whiz-Kid! Progress the Archon Quest “A Dance of Snowy Tides and Hoarfrost Groves” to invite Aino (Hydro 4-star);
- Missive of Grave – A Thank-You Anniversary Gift – Primogems x1600, Ujola Cat pet, Fragile Resin x2, and other rewards await you;
- Clink Clank Clash – take part in the event and obtain exclusive 4-star Catalyst;
- Stygian Onslaught will reset on September 17;
- Dodoco’s Blow-Up-Erative Bomb-Nanza – team up with other Travelers and use Jumpy Dumpties to defeat Spikey Fish;
- Limited Time Archon Quest Rewards – complete the Archon Quest before October 21 to receive Primogems x620, Character Ascension Materials, and other rewards;
- Limited Time Exploration Quest Rewards – complete the corresponding exploration missions before December 2nd to receive Primogems x400;
- New Permanent Gameplay – Travelers’ Tales. Visit friends from different places each day randomly to listen to interesting stories or spend leisurely moments together.
